Who we are

SellerPlex LLC (“SellerPlex”, “we”, “us”), 18322 West Creek Drive, Tinley Park, IL 60477, USA. This policy covers sellerplex.com and how we handle personal data when you contact us or work with us. Questions and requests: admin@sellerplex.com.

What we collect

  • What you send us: name, email, phone number, company, store details and anything else you enter in a form, an audit request, the chat assistant or an email.
  • Calls and meetings: bookings, call notes and, when you agree, recordings.
  • Website use: pages visited, device and browser, approximate location and how you found us, through the tools listed below.
  • Client work: the account data you give us access to so we can deliver the service. Our signed agreement with you governs that data.

Why we use it

  • To answer you and prepare an audit or proposal you asked for (steps you asked us to take before a contract).
  • To deliver the services you buy from us (our contract with you).
  • To follow up on sales conversations and keep business records. This is our legitimate interest in running the business, and you can object at any time.
  • To measure the website and our ads. Visitors in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked for consent first; they can say no.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting duties (legal obligation).

We do not sell your personal data. You do not have to give us personal data, but without your contact details we cannot answer you.

Tools that process your data

  • GoHighLevel (LeadConnector): our CRM for forms, bookings, calls, texts and email.
  • Google Workspace: email and documents.
  • Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager: website statistics. Google signals is on, so Google can link visits to signed-in Google accounts for reports.
  • Google Ads: ad measurement and remarketing.
  • Meta Pixel: ad measurement and remarketing on Facebook and Instagram.
  • Microsoft Clarity: heatmaps and recordings of how visitors use the site.
  • OpenAI ads pixel: ad measurement for ads in ChatGPT.
  • Chatbase: the chat assistant on our site. What you type in the chat is processed by Chatbase and its AI provider.
  • WPX: website hosting.
  • Google Fonts: delivers the fonts on some pages and receives your IP address to do so.
  • YouTube: plays the videos on our pages. Until you accept cookies, videos load in YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode.
  • Spotify and Buzzsprout: play our podcast episodes.

Most of these providers are based in the United States. For people in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland we rely on the provider’s certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on the standard contractual clauses in its terms.

Cookies

If you are in the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland, the analytics and ad tools above only load after you click Accept in the cookie banner. Everywhere else they load when you visit. Our booking calendar and some forms are served by GoHighLevel and can load the Meta Pixel inside them. Anyone can change their choice at any time through the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.

  • sp_consent: remembers your cookie choice. 12 months.
  • _ga, _ga_*: Google Analytics. Up to 400 days.
  • _gcl_au: Google Ads. 90 days.
  • _fbp: Meta Pixel. 90 days.
  • _clck, _clsk: Microsoft Clarity. 1 year and 1 day.
  • __obref: OpenAI ads pixel. 1 year.
  • chatbase_anon_id: keeps your chat conversation together. Until you close the browser.
  • handl_landing_page, handl_url, handl_ip: set by our site on each visit; remember the page you arrived on, the link you used and your IP address, so a form you send shows where you came from. 30 days. Removed again for visitors in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland who have not accepted cookies.

How long we keep it

  • Google Analytics keeps event data for 2 months and user data for 14 months.
  • Leads and contacts stay in our CRM while we are in contact with you, and until you ask us to delete them.
  • Client records and invoices are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to get a copy, to limit how we use it, or object to it. You can withdraw consent at any time. Email admin@sellerplex.com and we will answer within 30 days. If you are in the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Phone numbers, calls and text messages

When you give us your phone number through a form on this website, by email, or during a call, we use it to contact you about your inquiry, to confirm scheduled meetings, and to send meeting reminders.

We do not sell, rent or share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. No mobile information is shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers that help us deliver calls and messages receive only what they need in order to deliver them, and may not use it for their own marketing.

Text messages are sent only to people who opted in, either by ticking the optional consent box on our form or by agreeing on a call. Consent is never a condition of buying anything from us. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also email us to be removed from calls and texts.
